Meals are prepared directly at the school allowing easy quality control of the main ingredients.  The menu is prepared by a dietician according to the regional guidelines, and the Public Health and Hygiene Services of Ulss and prepared to meet the children’s tastes and preferences. The meals can be described as simple and healthy (with certified ingredients including their origin and genuine cooking ). The menu can be seen daily by parents.

 

School lunch time is considered educational to all effects. Educators observe how things are going and work on educating the students on using good table manners. At the end of each meal the students are asked to leave the tables in order. The pupils are not forced to eat, but they are invited to taste, without judgement, everything that is provided and are taught not to waste food. The educators are responsible in informing parents of any problems there might be during lunch time.
